Michael Phelps took part in first Olympics in Sydney in 2000, at the age of 15. He didn't win any medals, but many at the time knew he was destined for greatness. He went on to exceed those expectations.
Now, at the age of 27, Michael Phelps has become the most decorated Olympian ever. He has a total of 22 medals, 18 of which are gold – another record.
Now that he has concluded his incredible career, we thought we'd take a look back at all 22 races.
Medal # 1 - Athens 2004: 400m Individual Medley, Gold
