Presidents Cup attendees in Jersey City on Thursday got a rare glimpse of three former US presidents at once. Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton were all present to help tee off the biennial golf tournament.

Each of the three presidents had presided over the tournament as honorary chairmen while they were still in office, according to NJ.com.

The Presidents Cup features a series of matches between American golfers and their international rivals.

Here are the photos from Thursday's event:

A day in the life of a Playboy bunny, and how the controversial job has changed over 60 years

Playboy bunny

Bunnies have been a staple of the Playboy brand since it opened its first nightclub in 1960.

In the beginning, the bunnies were simply young women who worked as waitstaff in Playboy's clubs.

From 1960 to 1986, the brand ran 40 nightclubs, according to Atlas Obscura, as well as some intermittent casinos in England and the Bahamas. Prospective bunnies had to audition in order to get the job.

Since then, the term has expanded somewhat. It's even been applied to Hugh Hefner's girlfriends, who lived with him in the Playboy Mansion. Hefner ex-girlfriend Holly Madison's tell-all book is called "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny." Make no mistake, though — models who appear in Playboy magazine itself are "playmates," not bunnies.

With that in mind, here's a look into the controversial history of the bunnies:

SEE ALSO: Here's who will most likely inherit Hugh Hefner's millions

The name comes from an unexpected source. As a University of Illinois student, Hefner would sometimes dine at Bunny's Tavern in Urbana, Illinois. Apparently, the name stuck with him.

Bunnies working at Playboy Clubs had to abide by some strict rules. They could be immediately fired for dating other employees or guests.

There was also a ban on drinking alcoholic beverages and gum chewing on the job.

Here’s how you can read 8 books on the New York Times best-sellers list for only $9 this month

The Insider Picks team writes about stuff we think you'll like. Business Insider has affiliate partnerships so we may get a share of the revenue from your purchase.

downloadOne of the major benefits of going digital with your reading habits is saving quite a lot of money over time.

I use the app Scribd, which gives me access to hundreds of thousands of books for less than the price of one hardcover (8.99/month).

Because reading and smart financial planning are both things I want to encourage, I’m more than happy to use an app or e-reader. Plus, it's saving me a lot of room in my apartment.

One concern I had about digital reading before I got into it was that the selection of books would be slimmer, less desirable, or not up-to-date; thankfully that hasn't been the case, at least with Scribd.

There have been times where the book I wanted wasn't considered 'unlimited' but for the vast majority of my (very contemporary) wish list books, I've been able to search and start listening instantaneously (you get three book credits and one audiobook credit every month). As a result, I've been reading a lot more and from way more diverse genres.

If you're interested in giving it a try — and you can find a personal review with better details on the app itself here— you can try it out for free for 30 days. Or, use our cheat sheet here of e-readers and apps to find what works best for you, if any.

Below, you'll find eight New York Times bestsellers from August 2017 that you can read in audiobook and/or e-book right now on Scribd.

Captions are as found on the Scribd app, edited for length.

ISIS has detonated a massive bomb in the Marais district of Paris, and a desperate French government wants Gabriel to eliminate the man responsible before he can strike again.

"The Woman in Cabin 10" by Ruth Ware

In this tightly wound, enthralling story reminiscent of Agatha Christie’s works, Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins.

The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first, Lo’s stay is nothing but pleasant: the cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant.

But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, gray skies fall, and Lo witnesses what she can only describe as a dark and terrifying nightmare: a woman being thrown overboard. The problem? All passengers remain accounted for — and so, the ship sails on as if nothing has happened, despite Lo’s desperate attempts to convey that something (or someone) has gone terribly, terribly wrong…

A look back at the biggest scandals from Rick Pitino's controversial career

Rick Pitino

The recruiting scandal at the University of Louisville may be the biggest story in college sports right now, but this isn't the first time men's basketball head coach Rick Pitino has been in hot water.

For over four decades, the 1987 NABC Coach of the Year has been one of the most highly regarded coaches in the game, assembling championship-caliber squads in multiple conferences and across multiple eras. But he's also demonstrated a tendency to find himself on the wrong side of the NCAA's investigative arm.

Below, check out the greatest and most scandalous moments from one of college basketball's most controversial careers.

Rick Pitino was a standout high school point guard from Long Island when he committed to the University of Massachusetts in 1970. With 329 career assists, he still ranks as one of the top passers in program history.

Soon after his graduation in 1974, Pitino started as an assistant coach at the University of Hawaii. A 1977 NCAA report linked him to eight different violations, including paying for round-trip airfare for one of his players and distributing McDonald's coupons to the team.

Source: The New York Times

While Hawaii was placed on two years' probation, Pitino later denied his role in the violations. "I didn't make any mistakes," he said of his time in Honolulu. "I don't care what anybody says."

mom parent kid helping homework

Children only spend half their waking hours in school during the academic year.

This means that much of the rearing is still done at home.

In fact, research from North Carolina State University, Brigham Young University, and the University of California, Irvine finds that parental involvement is a more significant factor in a child's academic success than the qualities of the school itself.

To find out just what parents can do at home to help their kids excel, we asked teachers everywhere to weigh in.

More than 40 teachers shared some great suggestions, and we included some of our favorites here:

SEE ALSO: Teachers share 23 things they'd love to tell their students but can't

SEE ALSO: Science says parents of successful kids have these 17 things in common

Read together

"Read to them, read with them, and have them read to you."

—Katie Westfield, a ninth- and 10th-grade history teacher in Boston

*Editor’s note: Encouraging good reading habits was the most popular response among the teachers we surveyed.

Have dinner together

"I think family meals are a time to catch up on each other's lives. When kids and parents can converse about what happened during the day, the good and the bad, I think parents are able to get the best insight into their children's lives. Constant communication is one of the many keys to success throughout life."

—A second-grade teacher in New York City

Be a good role model

"If you want them to read, be a reader first. If you want them to improve their writing skills, begin writing letters to your children. You want them to do well in math? Stop telling them you hate Math!"

Playboy magazine publisher Hugh Hefner, 2nd right, and guests arrive for the LG Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri Post Grammy Party at a private residence Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006

Playboy Magazine founder Hugh Hefner died Wednesday surrounded by friends and family at the Playboy Mansion. While building his lifestyle empire, Hefner also became quite the ladies man.

Hefner has been married three times and has dated a number of Playboy bunnies since 1949. While he has claimed to have slept with over 1,000 women in his 91 years of life, only some have been able to call themselves his girlfriend and even fewer his wife.

Keep reading to see the most prominent women who have been in Hefner’s life.

Hugh Hefner married his first wife Mildred Williams in 1949. They met at Northwestern University.

Williams admitted to cheating on him before their wedding when he was in the army.

"I had literally saved myself for my wife, but after we had sex she told me that she'd had an affair. That was the most devastating moment in my life," said Hefner in 2007 to the Daily Mail

The couple stayed together for a another decade, but divorced in 1959. The had two children together, Christie and David. Christie Hefner was the Playboy Enterprises Chairman and CEO for 20 years until she stepped down in 2008.

Hefner dated Barbara Lynn Klein from 1969 to 1976 and convinced her to change her name to Barbi Benton.

Benton appeared on the cover of Playboy in 1969, 1970, 1972, and 1985. After dating Hefner, she married real-estate developer George Gradow in 1979.

Shannon Tweed dated Hefner briefly after being named 1982 Playmate of the Year.

The "Falcon Crest" star dated Hefner until she started a relationship with "Kiss" singer Gene Simmons, who were married in 2011. They have two children together.

12 celebrities reveal their wildest blind date stories

tristan and khloeThe INSIDER Summary:

  • Even celebrities have crazy blind date stories.
  • Some celebrities like Britney Spears and Ellie Kemper didn't have great experiences.
  • While otherse like Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen actually ended up getting married.

Everyone has a crazy blind date story, right? No, literally, we mean EVERYONE. It isn’t just you and your friends who fell in love at first sight at a clandestine meeting or realized instantly it was NOT a love connection with someone. No, celebs are really just like us in that they get set up by their friends and fam too. And sometimes those dates have resulted in horror stories. But other times they have lead to
some of our fave celebrity couples!

In the gallery below you will see that stars like Khloe Kardashian, 33, Britney Spears, 35, Tom Brady, 40, Cindy Crawford, 51, Salma Hayek, 51, and more have all been on some wild rides in the dating game. Of course, a few of those were great (and lead to legendary matches like Khloe and Tristan Thompson, 26, and Tom and Gisele Bundchen, 37) and others — well — not so much. It’s hard to believe that stars go through the exact same drama as us when it comes to finding love. But it’s also actually super adorable! To think that love blooms — and fails — for them in the same exact ways.

Some of these stories will totally warm your heart and make you thank God that blind dates exist. But just remember, even in Hollywood not all romances last forever. Though if you go on a bad blind date you always have a great story to tell on your next set-up! There is always an upside, right? Click here to find out which celebs dated the same person and still remained friends afterwards.

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

"I was put on a blind date with Tristan and that’s how [we met]," Khloe Kardashian said of meeting Tristan Thompson, during the 'KUWTK' 10 year anniversary special. "Brandon Jennings, who is a basketball player and a friend of mine and Malika [Haqq]'s, was like, 'You’re such a good girl, I want to introduce you to someone.' I was at the Bel-Air hotel, and [Tristan] came to the dinner. I didn't want to go on a blind date, so Brandon kind of ambushed the blind date. We just connected." The star went on the confirm that "it's a serious relationship."

Michael Kors

"In my twenties, I went to meet my date at a really chic, fashionable restaurant," Michael Kors said in Sarah Wexler's book "Awful First Dates.""I wasn't dressed up necessarily, but I had one a nice shirt and jeans. My date showed up in cutoffs and a tank top," he said. "I knew half the people in the restaurant, who were all looking at me like 'Who is this guy with Michael Kors?' It was so embarrassing. My tip: Always have your first date at a casual place."

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen

"This friend told me he knew a girl version of me," Tom Brady told Details in 2009. "And he said to me he'd found a boy version of me," Gisele Bündchen added. "I knew Tom was the one straightaway. I could see it in his eyes that he was a man with integrity who believes in the same things I do," the model told Vogue.

The man behind 'Game of Thrones' has several TV shows in the works — here's everything you need to know about them

$

george rr martin emmy

Author George R.R. Martin is best known for his "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series, adapted by HBO into "Game of Thrones." But you may not have realized that Martin is involved with several other TV projects. The shows include new adaptations based on other novels he's written, and some series he is executive producing.

Keep reading for the full list of projects Martin is involved with.

"Nightflyers" (Syfy)

What it's about

Based on Martin's 1985 novella of the same name, "Nightflyers" will be a sci-fi thriller series set in outer space.

"The story follows eight maverick scientists and a powerful telepath who embark on an expedition to the edge of our solar system in the hopes of contacting alien life," Variety reported. "They travel aboard The Nightflyer - a ship with a small tight knit crew and a reclusive captain.

But when terrifying and violent events begin to take place they start to question each other, and surviving the journey proves harder than anyone thought."

Who's writing and producing the show

The script is being written by Jeff Buhler, who will also executive produce the series. Buhler is writing the screenplay for the remake of "Jacob's Ladder" and has written several other movies.

Additional executive producers include Robert Jaffe, Alison Rosenzweig, Michael Gaeta, Lloyd Ivan Miller and Alice P. Neuhauser.

Martin himself is not involved.

"Since I have an overall deal that makes me exclusive to HBO, I can't provide any writing or producing series to 'Nightflyers' should it go to series," Martin said in a May 2017 blog post. "But of course, I wish Jaffe and Buhler and their team the best of luck."

Buy Martin's novella "Nightflyers" here.

"Wild Cards" (Universal Cable Productions)

What it's about

"Wild Cards" is an anthology series written by a variety of sci-fi/fantasy authors. Here's a synopsis of the premise for "Wild Cards"as Martin explained:

"The shared world of the 'Wild Cards' diverged from our own on September 15, 1946 when an alien virus was released in the skies over Manhattan, and spread across an unsuspecting Earth.

Of those infected, 90% died horribly, drawing the black queen, 9% were twisted and deformed into jokers, while a lucky 1% became blessed with extraordinary and unpredictable powers and became aces. The world was never the same."

Who's writing and producing the show

The "Wild Cards" stories are mostly written by a large collective of authors, the full list of which is here. Martin has mainly edited the book series, though he has written several installments. He won't be writing any of the scripts for the TV series.

Martin's assistant editor and seasoned TV writer/producer Melinda M. Snodgrass is an executive producer on the project alongside Gregory Noveck, who previously worked for DC Entertainment and Syfy films.

"Who Fears Death" (HBO)

What it's about

Based on the award-winning sci-fi novel by Nnedi Okorafor, this series is currently in development for HBO. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic Africa and focuses on a woman born from a violent rape named Onyesonwu (which means "Who fears death?" in an ancient language).

The girl, who goes by Onye, realizes as she grows up that she has magical abilities. When she visits the spirit realm, she learns that a mysterious and powerful figure is trying to kill her.

As the synopsis explains, "Desperate to elude her would-be murderer and to understand her own nature, she embarks on a journey in which she grapples with nature, tradition, history, true love, and the spiritual mysteries of her culture, and ultimately learns why she was given the name she bears: Who Fears Death."

Who's writing and producing the show

Martin is an executive producer on the project, along with former HBO President Michael Lombardo and Angela Mancuso. In a September blog update, Martin revealed the script will be written by Selwyn Seyfu Hinds, whose resume includes producing hip-hop and civil rights documentaries.

NFL WEEK 4: Our official predictions for who wins this weekend

$

Eagles G4

Week 3 was one football won't soon forget, with players, coaches, and owners all joining together in a show of solidarity the likes of which the league has never seen.

But beyond the impressive displays during the national anthem, football fans were also treated to a great lineup of games, with last-second game-winners, controversial calls, and some big upsets.

While the football was great, Week 3 was a tough one for gamblers, with ten underdogs playing at home throughout the week. Of the eight that played on Sunday, six of them won outright, so the best strategy would have been to close our eyes and have faith that the home dogs would come through. Instead, we tried to pick and choose our spots, and ended up making our jobs even harder. Lesson learned, and thankfully, there's a few more home dogs on the slate this week for anyone looking to recoup some losses from last week.

There's a few more weird games this week, but also some great bets on the board if you can find them.

Take a look below for all of our official picks against the spread for Week 4 of the season. All lines courtesy of the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.

Chicago Bears (+7.5) at Green Bay Packers (Thursday, 8:25 p.m. ET)

The pick: Packers -7.5

The logic: This line is brutal and Thursday Night Football is always a mess. Better to just stay away from this game and save your money for Sunday, but if you have to get a bet down, just pick which Color Rush jersey you like the best and cheer them on.

New Orleans Saints (-3) at Miami Dolphins (Sunday, 9:30 a.m. ET in London)

The pick: Dolphins +3

The logic: I got burned betting a favorite in London last weekend, with the Jaguars making me look foolish by beating up on the Ravens 44-7. The lesson I learned is that weird things happen in London football, and nothing would be weirder than Jay Cutler having the game of his life before coming back stateside and continuing his mediocrity.

This is probably another game you shouldn't bet.

Buffalo Bills (+8) at Atlanta Falcons (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)

The pick: Falcons -8

The logic: Falcons play tough at home and the Bills are coming off the biggest win they've had in a while. I don't doubt the Bills as a solid team and tough game at home moving forward, it's just not a great spot for them here.

UBS: These 8 housing markets around the world are closest to a bubble

$

toronto

Homeowners in Toronto face the biggest risk worldwide of seeing their property values collapse.

That's according to UBS' latest annual Global Real Estate Bubble Index, which examines which housing markets have experienced unsustainable price increases.

"Annual price-increase rates of 10% correspond to a doubling of house prices every seven years, which is not sustainable," the report said. "Nevertheless, the fear of missing out on further appreciation predominates among home buyers."

Buyers are being egged on by easy financing conditions, growing wealth among the ultra-rich, and a shortfall of building supply relative to demand, the report said. By overblowing the impact of these three factors, homebuyers have driven at least eight cities into bubble territory.

Toronto and Amsterdam were the new additions this year to this cohort of cities where home prices have increased by more than 50% since 2011.

Here's the full list in ascending order of the bubble index:

SEE ALSO: Wall Street analyst unleashes on Jamie Dimon and everyone else calling bitcoin a fraud

Amsterdam

"Since 2015 real prices have increased by 30% and the city has entered bubble-risk territory. The city’s housing market sharply decoupled from the weak countrywide housing market. Deviations from market fundamentals in the capital are, however, not extreme."

Hong Kong

"Residential market prices reached an all-time high in midyear. Thus the UBS Global Real Estate Bubble Index score for Hong has increased significantly. Prices — especially for smaller dwellings — surged in the last four quarters. In real terms they are close to three times higher than in 2003, having increased at an average annual growth rate of 10%. Real rents rose in the same period by 3%, while incomes were unchanged."

London

"London's inflation-adjusted housing prices are almost 45% higher than five years ago and 15% higher than before the financial crisis a decade ago. But real income remains 10% lower than in 2007. The rise in house prices, however, has been decelerating since the UK referendum in June 2016, and real prices are 2% lower. The UBS Global Real Estate Bubble Index score for London dropped to 1.77, but remains in bubble-risk territory."

Hurricane Maria made landfall as a Category 4 storm in Puerto Rico on September 20, devastating the US territory that an estimated 3.4 million US citizens call home.

But beyond the images of destroyed buildings or massive floods, there is a humanitarian crisis unfolding on the island. Much of Puerto Rico was without electricity days after the storm pushed past the island. Food, clean drinking water and other vital resources have been scarce.

As stories of the dire conditions emerged, humanitarian aid is slowly trickling in with the federal government's help. President Donald Trump has also announced that he would visit the island on Tuesday.

The 11 toughest UK business schools to get into

Durham University and Castle

LONDON — Getting a degree in business can be a springboard into a lucrative career in banking or finance.

Certain names carry more weight than others when it comes to advertising your achievements to potential employers. As a result, many of the top business schools in the UK are heavily oversubscribed for places.

This week, the Sunday Times published its annual ranking of the UK's best universities, which ranks establishments according to a number of factors including course satisfaction, student to staff ratio, and career prospects.

Business Insider took a look at the Business Studies subindex and ranked the constituents by the average UCAS tariff score of new students entering the system. The higher the average, the tougher it is to get into that school.

See which faculties make the list below:

11. Bristol — Business studies requires an average of 181 UCAS points for entrants at Bristol. It was only good enough for 46th overall in the ranking for the subject, however.

10. Edinburgh — Edinburgh was 36th overall in the Times' business studies degree ranking, but much higher in terms of entry standards. Students had an average entry tariff of 182 UCAS points.

9. Warwick — With alumni including the Bank of England's chief economist Andy Haldane, it's no surprise that doing a business degree at Warwick is no easy feat. Entrants required an average of 187 UCAS points this year.

615QMYnM69L._SL1001_Eggs are probably one of the most versatile and inexpensive foods on the planet; they’re impossibly cheap to get, and there are about a million ways to make them. But odds are that you still don’t know how to make them the way you want, or if you do, the method isn’t fast.

For instance, I’m still paying too much for a breakfast sandwich from the bodega in the morning and then diner prices for an omelet on the weekend, because I don’t have the time or the desire to figure out how to manipulate my wrist in a way that uniformly controls a spatula.

And we’ll all pay these higher prices for convenience or quality because, well, we’re hungry and, especially in the mornings, we can’t be bothered.

So that’s why it’s extremely useful to pick up some kitchen gadgets that will help make you those protein-packed breakfasts any way you like them, for much less over time and as easily as possible, so your time is still your own.

You can pour in two different omelet mixes if another breakfast guest wants something else, and you can use the measuring tick marks to gauge how much to put in. The indicator light will let you know when it's on, preheated, and ready to cook.

It's non-stick coated, so you won't have a hard time cleaning, either.

Holstein Housewares HF-09010B Fun Omelet Maker, from $24.99

A rapid egg cooker

With nearly 2,200 5-star reviews on Amazon, Dash's egg cooker lives up to the hype. Whether you prefer your eggs hard or soft boiled, the Dash cooker makes cooking them easy. Once you've filled the base of the cooker with water — it comes with a measuring cup that tells you how much water you'll need for every type of egg — you can place up to six eggs on the top tray. Aston Martin made a big boating debut at this year's Monaco Yacht Show.

The luxury car maker showed off its AM37 yacht that first debuted in September 2016. The bespoke boat was made in conjunction with Quintessence Yacht and starts at $1.64 million.

But that's not all Aston Martin had to show in Monaco. The car maker also revealed the designs for its first submarine, codenamed Project Neptune.

Aston Martin started working on its AM37 in 2014 and officially debuted the boat in 2016.

The luxury car brand has actually started delivering the AM37 to the first few lucky buyers. Aston Martin is only making 8 to 12 boats a year, so it's hard to come by.

Aston Martin is selling two versions of the boat. The base model relies on twin 370-hp diesel engines or two 430-hp gasoline engines to reach a top speed of 45 knots. It costs $1.64 million.

'Will & Grace' takes aim at Trump in its return to TV after 11 years

Will & Grace

After an 11-year absence from Thursday nights on NBC, “Will & Grace" is back, and the same as ever.

And that’s a good thing.

Rather than change the formula and the characters, creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick stuck to what worked in 1998. By the end of the premiere, the characters are right back to where they started in the pilot.

Anything different would miss the point of the reunion, which is pretty much just 90s nostalgia. The only difference from the original show is the time, the technology, and the culture (it's a little bit easier to be young and gay).

I was honestly dreading the return of this show, possibly due to NBC's aggressive marketing campaign. In New York City, the ads followed me everywhere for weeks (maybe months). I'm also not a huge fan of revivals and reunions, knowing there are enough people out there who can create great original shows.

But in a time when “Game of Thrones" isn’t airing new episodes, and there’s not a lot of great fall TV to look forward to, I watched the screeners of the first three episodes of as soon as NBC made them available to journalists. The new episodes of "Will & Grace" are a lot better than I expected, and maintain the humor and spirit that audiences fell in love with 19 years ago.

The first episode, which is loaded with jokes that are critical of President Trump, starts with a game of Heads Up — a 2017 upgrade that is ironically a very 2012 reference — which quickly establishes where these characters are politically, culturally, and romantically.

The next two episodes, which are more traditional "Will & Grace" episodes based in New York City, also prove that the show's characters and sense of humor stand the test of time. Will, Grace, Jack, and Karen might not be well-adjusted adults (and they likely never will be), but the show itself has adjusted well to 2017.

These are the best moments from the very Trump heavyand very funnyreturn of "Will & Grace."

The show gets political right away.

The political jokes start firing within the first 20 seconds, while the gang plays Heads Up.

“We want to love her, but she makes it impossible,“ Will says. And immediately Grace shouts, “Caitlyn Jenner!” Caitlyn Jenner is open about being a conservative, and openly supported Trump during the election.

Next, Will says, “Rich. Hostage.” And Grace shouts, “Melania!” But she’s wrong — once Will gives the clue “beret,” she realizes it’s Patty Hearst.

Grace is getting a divorce and living with Will, yet again. And Jack still lives across the hallway. And Karen is still, well, Karen.

This takes the show right back to where it started in the pilot, with Grace moving in with Will, although at the beginning of the episode they say it's "temporary." Jack still lives across the hallway in Will's building, and Karen still works as Grace's (terrible) assistant.

The show subtly comments on elite white liberals when Will and Grace discuss the fact that they're "woke." Or are they?

Will is writing a congressman who's trying to gut the EPA. Will is not a fan, but admits that he's very attractive.

"You are so woke," Grace says. "I used to be woke. Now I use my p---y hat to sneak candy into the movies."

Everything we know about the new $80 Super Nintendo

Super NES Classic Edition

That smell of teen spirit and Nickelodeon slime isn't just you — the '90s are cool again. Look no further than the adorably angular Super Nintendo console above for confirmation of that fact.

Nintendo isn't going so far as straight-up rereleasing the original SNES console, but has instead created a new device called the Super NES Classic Edition. The console's out now! So we compiled everything we know about it in our Trapper Keeper — then published our findings below.

DON'T MISS: The new $80 Super Nintendo is about to launch — here's how you can get one

As hinted above, the Super NES Classic Edition is smaller than the original Super Nintendo. Here's the original SNES — the console is much larger than the gamepad.

By contrast, the Super NES Classic Edition is minuscule. The gamepad is far larger than the console, which is adorable and hilarious. The console fits in the palm of your hand.

Don't be fooled by the look of it, though. The SNES Classic Edition doesn't function anything like the original SNES. You can't put cartridges in it, nor can you plug original gamepads into the ports on the front.

Controllers plugged into the front ports of the original Super Nintendo console, and game cartridges went into the slot on top. The blue sliders controlled power and resetting the console, and the gray lever in the middle ejected games. It now seems pretty low-tech.

12 things recruiters say drive them crazy in job interviews

To err is human.

Even experienced job candidates sometimes flub a question during the interview. But odds are, if you're a great fit, you'll survive an awkward pause or two.

Recruiters are far less forgiving of other mistakes, however.

Recruiting software company Jobvite recently released a survey breaking down recruiter preferences and biases. It commissioned Zogby Analytics to run an online poll of 831 recruiters in the US.

Part of the survey looked into behaviors recruiters say could ruin an applicant's chances.

Here are some interview mistakes, behaviors, and choices that could immediately disqualify a job candidate:

DON'T MISS: 16 interview mistakes people think will cost them the job — but won't

12. Failing to wear enough makeup

Percentage of recruiters who said this behavior would immediately disqualify a candidate: 1%

You really shouldn't concern yourself with wearing enough makeup to a job interview. Only 1% of recruiters were fixated on this. Besides, would you even want to work with people who care deeply about whether or not you wear bronzer?

11. Dressing unfashionably

Percentage of recruiters who said this behavior would immediately disqualify a candidate: 4%

Fashion is in the eye of the beholder, so this also seems like a pretty subjective issue. Still, it's a good idea to avoid a potential pitfall by asking about the company's dress code before the interview.

10. Wearing too much makeup

Percentage of recruiters who said this behavior would immediately disqualify a candidate: 5%

A small fraction of recruiters might take issue with what they perceive as heavy make-up. Then again, if bold new shades of lipstick and eye shadow are your thing but not the company's, the culture might not be a good fit anyway.
